Hougang is a large residential town in north-east Singapore with established neighbourhoods around Hougang Central. Hougang MRT, Hougang Central Bus Interchange and Hougang Mall provide transport, shopping and essential services for residents across the area.
If an essential expense has created a temporary financial shortfall, you may be searching for a Hougang money lender nearby. Credit 21 does not operate a branch or office in Hougang. Our single registered office is located at 10 Anson Road, #01-07 International Plaza, Singapore 079903.
International Plaza is beside Tanjong Pagar MRT Exit C. Borrowers travelling from Hougang can take the North East Line to Outram Park before changing to the East-West Line for the final stop to Tanjong Pagar.
From Hougang MRT Station, take the North East Line towards HarbourFront. The train passes through Kovan, Serangoon, Woodleigh, Potong Pasir, Boon Keng, Farrer Park, Little India, Dhoby Ghaut, Clarke Quay and Chinatown before reaching Outram Park, a total of eleven stops.
At Outram Park, change to the East-West Line and travel one stop to Tanjong Pagar MRT. Use Exit C, which is beside International Plaza. Credit 21 is located at #01-07 on the first level.
Hougang Mall is near Hougang MRT Station and identifies Exit B as the most convenient station exit for the mall. Walk to the MRT, board a North East Line train towards HarbourFront and change at Outram Park.
If you are arriving at Hougang Central Bus Interchange from another part of the town, walk towards Hougang MRT and continue by train. Some bus routes may also travel towards central Singapore, but journey times will depend on traffic and your preferred departure time.
Enter 10 Anson Road, Singapore 079903 as your destination. The most suitable route will depend on current road conditions between Hougang and the CBD. Allow additional time during weekday commuting periods. Basement parking is available at International Plaza through the Anson Road entrance, subject to availability and prevailing charges.
An urgent medical payment, household expense, family commitment or temporary income gap can place pressure on a monthly budget. Before considering a personal loan, confirm the amount that remains after using available savings and exploring other suitable payment arrangements.
Compare the potential instalment with your housing, utilities, food, transport, insurance and existing debt repayments. Keep enough income available for essential expenses throughout the repayment period rather than using the entire monthly balance for instalments.
You can use Credit 21’s personal loan calculator to obtain an initial repayment estimate. The result is intended for planning and does not represent a confirmed interest rate, loan amount or approval decision. Every application remains subject to assessment and repayment ability.
You may begin by submitting an online loan application. Credit 21 may then request identification, proof of income, employment information, bank statements or other supporting documents required for the assessment.
The borrowing process cannot be completed entirely online. Face-to-face identity verification, explanation of the proposed loan terms and contract signing must take place at Credit 21’s registered office at International Plaza.
Before signing, review the interest rate, applicable fees, repayment schedule, late-payment consequences and total amount repayable. The agreement should be explained in language you understand, and you should receive a copy of the completed contract.
Do not sign a blank or incomplete document. Ask for clarification if any fee, condition or repayment responsibility is unclear.
Hougang has many family and multi-generational households. When a shared appliance, family service or other household necessity requires an urgent payment, more than one person may be expected to contribute towards the cost.
A practical Hougang borrower tip is to confirm each person’s contribution before deciding how much you may need. Do not borrow the full cost based only on an informal promise that another family member will repay part of it later. Obtain the final quotation, agree on the payment split and calculate only the amount that you must personally cover. Your repayment plan should remain manageable even if another person’s contribution is delayed.
